1. DRYRING

The slides are
completely
dries in hot air
oven.

2. DEPARAFFINIZATION

To remove the paraffin
from slide ,after cooling
it to room temperature,
placed in xylene for 5
min and again for
additional xylene bath
for 5 min.

3.HYDRATION

The slides are passed in
decreasing alcohol
concentration and finally
in distilled water/tap
water.

4.STAINING

H & E STAIN






5.DEHYDRATION

The slides are rapidly
agitated through alcohol
solution followed by two
absolute alcohol and
finally two changes in
xylene. (clearing agent)

6.MOUNTING

Placing the
cover slip on
the mounting
media .
