Indian Matchmaking Season 2 starts on Netflix from Wednesday, August 10. Get down on one knee and ask if the season 2 of Indian Matchmaking is back. The plan is there. The answer is yes. Seema Aunty and Indian Matchmaking will return for the second season."
The show was renewed for Seasons 2 and 3 even before Season 2 began on the platform. Talking about the audience response to the show, Matchmaker host Sima Taparia said, “The love I got from the fans of the show was amazing. Tailoring is my passion and it gives me pleasure to share my work with audiences across the globe. Sima is back from Mumbai! She also said, "I was completely shocked by the response to the first season of Indian Matchmaking. I was "overwhelmed" by the love and appreciation for "Indian culture and values".
Helmed by filmmaker Smriti Mundhra, who previously worked with Sima Taparia on a documentary titled "A Suitable Girl", the show's executive producers include Aaron Sadman, Ellie Holzman and J.C. Begley. Season 2 will have a total of 8 episodes. Aparna Shevkramani teased the audience in a post on her social media, captioning, "Hmm, looks like it could be better, I'm back to Indian matchmaking. Watch it on Netflix, August 10th!"
